January 12, 2016, the Vietnam-Indonesia Friendship Association (VIFA) visited Indonesia as courtesy that in Indonesia has been formed Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA). The Visit led by Mr. Nguyen Dang Thien as Chairman of Association. The main purpose of this visit is to congratulate the Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA) where Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata as Chairman of association. The first visit was to the Ambassador of Socialist Republic Vietnam in Indonesia H.E. Hoang Anh Tuan at Vietnam embassy office in Indonesia which is located in Menteng.

The next visit to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Mr. Basuki Tjahaja Purnama at the governor’s office DKI Jakarta City Hall. A visit to the Governor’s office is to exchange opinions on regulatory and traffic issues in both Jakarta and Hanoi. On this visit, the Governor of DKI Jakarta invited the chairman of VIFA to see the smart city system of Jakarta which just made by DKI Jakarta. Smart city is able to show all the activities of traffic and staff of DKI Jakarta daily activities. With the Smart City system, Jakarta can more easily control and monitor the obstacles that occur. for example is the prevention of flooding, cleanliness on the road. From this experience, VIFA also has a monitoring system of all traffic using Radio system, where they can update the condition of the traffic that are sometimes has crowded because of traffic through the radio. In Hanoi, driver generally listen to the radio so that the congestion handling is effectively using radio. The visit ended with a dinner hosted by Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata, served Indonesian cuisine at a restaurant that serves typical Indonesian cuisine with rijstafel since the Dutch era
