Party chief To Lam encourages Vietnam – Indonesia business connectivity

VOV.VN – Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam met with leaders of several top Indonesian corporations and businesses in Jakarta on March 9 as part of his ongoing state visit to the island state.

During his meeting with Budiarsa Sastrawinata, CEO of Ciputra Group, To Lam highly appreciated the group’s business and investment activities, especially in real estate development and services. He highlighted Ciputra-invested Nam Thang Long Urban Area as one of the largest foreign-invested real estate projects and one of the most beautiful and impressive urban complexes in the West Lake area of Hanoi. He expected that the group would continue investment in green cities, smart cities, and tourism projects in Vietnam in the coming years.

According to the Party leader, Vietnam is making significant efforts to reform administrative procedures and improve institutions and legal frameworks to create a favorable investment environment for both domestic and foreign investors. He encouraged Indonesian businesses to invest in Vietnam, and hoped Indonesia would support Vietnamese enterprises in expanding their market presence in the country.

Affirming Vietnam’s support for Ciputra’s ongoing projects, the Party leader urged the group to closely coordinate with the Hanoi People’s Committee and relevant agencies for project implementation. He also encouraged the group to explore new investment opportunities in Vietnam, to leverage its strengths in investment cooperation, thereby contributing to its economic growth targets.

Sastrawinata for his part briefed To Lam on Ciputra’s investment plan in Vietnam and affirmed his commitment to continuing real estate development projects, including residential and office building projects in Hanoi, while also exploring new investment opportunities in the country.
